Agape Dance Team - Trinity Western University
During his time as an undergraduate student Mario co-founded and directed Agape in 2018. In 2019 Agape competed at The Academy Dance Competition, making history as the first team from western Canada to participate in Ontario’s university street dance choreography competition circuit. That same year Mario was hired to lead the Spartans Dance Program. Within the program, there were two teams: Agape (beginner-intermediate level) and Spartans (Competitive - Intermediate). As head of the program; he was the teacher, choreographer, and artistic director. Here Mario created a syllabus emphasizing artistic development and student-life balance for the dancers within the program. The Spartans Dance Program ran from 2019-2020.
